Giga Khositashvili has a strong background in Higher Education and Academic Integrity. As Deputy Director of the Library at Ilia State University, he oversees key areas including distance learning, academic databases, and the promotion of ethical academic practices. With over a decade of experience, Giga has played a central role in various Erasmus+ CBHE projects focused on enhancing the quality of education and academic integrity in Georgian universities. He also serves as an accreditation expert at the quality enhancement agencies in Eastern European countries. Currently pursuing a PhD in Education at Ilia State University, Giga is committed to advancing ethical standards in research and education across academic institutions.
Tatia Nakashidze-Makharadze – Doctor of Education, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Exact Science and Education, Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University (BSU). Regularly participates in the international and local conferences and has published her work in International peer-reviewed journals. Active participant of research seminars, English language methodology training and workshops. Conducts trainings both for local and international teachers in English language Methodology. 19 years of teaching experience at BSU. Delivers courses at both undergraduate and Master’s levels, covering subjects such as General English, English Language teaching Methodology and English for Law students. Serves as a scientific consultant for international PhD. Student. Her primary interests lie in foreign language teaching methods, incorporating IT into the teaching process, and fostering student motivation and engagement. She has also been actively involved in number of grant projects and is focused on ongoing professional growth and sharing experience.
Marina Nagervadze –professor of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University.
M. Nagervadze in 2004-2005 years has passed a period of trainee on the basis of three laboratories of hematology scientific research institute (Russian Federation, Moscow); (Standardization of blood groups; Blood immunological typing; immuno-hematology). In 2008-2009 years, in the frames of exchange program Erasmus Mundus lot 5 she was in Greece as PhD student with the specialty of molecular and cellular biotechnology. She obtained practical skills in various types of molecular methods. In 2009-2010 years she had basic position of performer in grant project “Erythrocyte (ABO, Rh-Hr, Kell, MN Ss) group antigens‟ frequency of spreading in the population of Ajara-Guria and its usage in practical medicine and ethnical anthropology, this project was financed by Georgian National Scientific Fund (GNSF) In the frames of 2006–2020 years, her sphere of interest was studying group antigens in different populations. She has studied with other researchers of the Biology Department of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University peculiarities of spreading of given antigens during different infectious and non-infective diseases and their correlation peculiarities are established. There are distinguished stable phenotype groups that are steady and sensible towards disease and infecting. She is winner of the president scientific grants in the 2012 year competition for the young scientists of LEPL Shota Rustaveli National Scientific Fund and financed the project. In 2016 and 2020 with her leading three students on a master’s degree course received financing from GNSF. She is also the head of 2 grant projects “Research with high school Student Participation”. M. Nagervadze has participated in in-house university grant projects as a key personnel and manager in 2019-2021. She has also participated in two international grant projects (Erasmus+ and INTAS). Marina Nagervadze has participated in 3 international exchange programs (Erasmus mundus, Erasmus+ and Erasmus electra). She is the author of over 70 scientific papers. His research papers are searched in Google scholar, Scopus and WoS databases. She has participated in lots of international and local conferences, congresses and workshops. She has about 20 years teaching experience on three level of educational system.
Tamar Chokoraia is an affiliated associate professor and Head of the Academic Writing Center at Caucasus University from 2020. She teaches the Academic Writing course and coordinates the teaching process of academic writing at the university. In addition to conducting trainings on academic integrity and plagiarism prevention, she monitors the uploading process of BA, MA, PhD papers in Turnitin, and gives recommendations in case of academic misconduct and violation of academic writing principles. She is involved in the project the Responsible Conduct of Research – Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities (ETHICS) funded by the Euro Commission. In the framework of the project, she participated in the first international consortium meeting in Prague, attended the training of trainers in Kutaisi, and subsequently conducted in-house training. She is currently working on the implementation of the Research Ethics course at the university. She has experience of teaching Academic Writing course at the University of Georgia and managing of academic services and scientific e-resources and holding an academic position at New Vision University. She has worked for several years as an editor at private publishing houses. She has been an expert in program accreditation at LEPL National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement, she has a PhD in Philology (obtained at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University). Her scientific interests are academic integrity, AI generative tools, and principles of academic writing.
Professor, Doctor Nikoloz Parjanadze
Dr. Nikoloz Parjanadze has worked for several different universities, among them Akaki Tsereteli State University, Kutaisi, Georgia, Georgian Agrarian University, Tbilisi, Georgia, American University of the Middle East, Kuwait City, Kuwait, Caucasus University, Tbilisi, Georgia, being in charge of various responsibilities throughout his professional career. He completed three MA programmes – English Philology (Akaki Tsereteli State University, Kutaisi, Georgia), Business Administration (Akaki Tsereteli State University, Kutaisi, Georgia), and Educational Leadership and Management (Chevening Scholarship, Institute of Education, University of London (now UCL Institute of Education), London, UK), and acquired PhD degree in English Philology (Akaki Tsereteli State University, Kutaisi, Georgia). Dr. Parjanadze was the Head of Higher Education Quality Assurance Department at the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement of Georgia. Besides, Nikoloz works at International Black Sea University and holds an academic position of Affiliated Professor at the School of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences. His publications reflect his scholarly interest in Anglo-American linguistics, education leadership and management research and practice. Dr. Nikoloz Parjanadze participated in a Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program at the University of Arkansas (USA) doing research of internationalization of higher education. He delivers lectures in linguistics, educational research, educational leadership, management and administration. Currently, Nikoloz is the Director of Research Facilitation Department at Caucasus University, Georgia.

I received higher education in 2003-2008 at Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and finished with the academic degree of Master of Law (equivalent to Master’s degree).
Considering the field of activity and interest of the last years, since 2023 I am a master’s student of the Eastern European University – Educational Sciences and Research Master’s Program.
Since 2010, I am (based on the results of the bar qualification exam, 2008) a member of the Bar Association with a general specialization, and since 2021, also with a specialization in juvenile justice and children’s rights;
Membership of the association was preceded by an internship in a law office in 2008-2009 and work as a lawyer’s assistant in 2009-2010.
Since 2010, I have been engaged in independent advocacy and consulting activities for individuals and legal entities.
Since 2011, I have been a lawyer at David Tvildiani Medical University;
Since 2015, I have been heading the legal department of the university.
Within the scope of authority and competence, I am involved in the authorization and accreditation processes of the university, I participate in various educational and research projects at the university. I am responsible for raising the awareness of the university community about legislative acts and internal regulations and their implementation. I am an invited member of the Rector’s Council, a permanent member of the Strategic and Ethics committees.
At various times, I have attended the training courses of the Ministry of Justice and the Council of Justice, the Georgian and American Bar Associations, BDO and the “Medical Education Center” (MEC) of David Tvildiani Medical University, I participate in the meetings and trainings related to higher and professional education organized by the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement
Lela Nadashvili
I was born on 27.05.1973 in Tbilisi, Georgia. I grew up and obtained general secondary education in Georgia. Also, I obtained 7-year musical education (fortepiano class), sang and played bass-guitar in via “NERGEBI”.
I received higher medical education in Highest Medical School “AIETI” – currently David Tvildiani Medical University in 1993-1998 years.
I started work in 2000 in David Tvildiani Medical University as an invited teacher of “Human Behavioral Sciences” and “Medical Biostatistics”.
In 2004-2011 years, I worked in “Rotapharm”, the pharmaceutical company, as a translator – interpreter.
Since 2012 I have been working at David Tvildiani Medical University as an Assistant Dean. Also, I am a PhD candidate in the field of Medical Education in the same university. I have participated in
numerous international conferences and projects as a presenter, the member of organizing committee and attendee.
Nika Gigauri is the manager of GIPA’s quality assurance service. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Political Science from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Throughout his career, Nika Gigauri has worked in the public sector, non-governmental organizations, and research institutions focusing on policy research and education administration. Before joining GIPA, he worked in the higher education quality assurance service of the National Center for the Development of Education Quality. Nika Gigauri is also a member of the group of experts for the accreditation of higher education programs. He has contributed to numerous local and international projects in political science, public administration and law, including programs by USAID, IFES, Erasmus+, DAAD, and IRI. Nika has also completed a qualification improvement program of the European Space of Higher Education on assurance standards and ESG guidelines. In terms of academic activities, Nika Gigauri serves as a lecturer at GIPA – Georgian Institute of Public Affairs Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
Nutsa Mindiashvili is the Research and Development Manager of the Research Department the Coordinator of GIPA’s Master’s Program in Environmental Management and Policy. She received a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA). Before joining GIPA, Nutsa worked as an intern at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia in the Department of Western Europe and at the National Agency of Public Registry in the Department of International Relations.
Prof. Tina Gelashvili has been working at Samtskhe-Javakheti State University (Georgia) and held different leading positions at the university: Dean of Faculty, Head of Department, Head of University Methodological Council; Secretary of Scientific Council; Rector of University. From 2012-2024 she was manager and researcher/trainer of nine EU -Tempus and Erasmus+ CBHE projects; Currently she is a Head of MBA Program and Manager and senior researcher of the ETHICS-Erasmus+ Project.
She Is the author of over 71 scientific publications including 4 monographs; Editor of eight textbooks; an organizer and a participant of more than 52 international scientific conferences and more than 50 International workshops (most of them are about learning, teaching and assessment methods and tools) and trainings. T. Gelashvili is editorial board member of two scientific International Journals.
She was a winner and participant of MASHAV-MATS –international Scholarship program (ISRAEL) and Alumni of Cochran Fellowship Program (USA).

Teona Zhuzhunadze has been working at Samtskhe-Javakheti State University since 2012 as an invited teacher. From 2012-2018 she was working at the PR department at the same university. During these years she was involved in several Tempus and Erasmus+ projects. From 2017 she was a student expert of authorization of higher educational institutions and accreditation of higher educational programmes at the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement of Georgia. In 2019-2020 she was working as a Coordinator at the Authorization Division for Higher Educational Institutions at LEPL National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement. Currently she is employed as a PR and Marketing Manager in Destination Management Organization (DMO) in Samtskhe-Javakheti Region.
Teona Zhuzhunadze has BA in English Philology, MA in Education Administration and currently is pursuing her PhD in Education at Ilia State University. Her major goal is to fulfil her PhD and fully engage in academic life. At the moment she is also taking the Micro-degree program “Use of technology in contemporary learning” at Tartu University.
She was involved in different work packages within Erasmus+ CBHE project –Academic Integrity for Quality Teaching and Learning in Higher Education Institutions in Georgia (INTEGRITY) and now she is involved in another Erasmus+ CBHE project – Responsible Conduct of Research – Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities (ETHICS).

Ekaterine Pirtskhalva, PhD in Psychology, is an associate professor at the faculty of psychology and educational sciences at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU). Head of Institute of Social Psychology. Since 1997, she has been taught BA, MA, and doctoral-level courses at TSU. 2017-2019: She was head of the department of psychology. From 2019, she is working for establishment IRB at the faculty and from 2022 She is chair of the ethical committee of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences. Research Analyst Ekaterine Pirtskhalava has over fifteen years of experience in complex social science research of interdisciplinary issues as well as evaluation. She holds research and evaluation skills in research design, data collection, and ad analysis (application of qualitative and quantitative methodologies). Since 2003 she has been collaborating with the NGO-IPS Institute for Policy Studies as a researcher, where she has participated in different research projects. Dr. Magda Tsintsadze, is a professor of the Computer Science Department at the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences at TSU. At the same time, she is an adjunct professor at San Diego State University Georgia. Dr. Tsintsadze received a bachelor’s degree and then a master’s degree from Tbilisi State University, the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Computer Sciences. She holds a doctorate degree from the same university in the field of mathematical cybernetics. Magda Tsintsadze’s post-doctoral research was carried out in Greece (2008-2009) at the Thessaloniki Alexander Institute (ATEI). Dr. Tsintsadze was/is conducting teaching and research in computer science disciplines at several foreign universities (University of Lodz (2014, 2015); SUNY STONY Brook, NY, USA (2011-2012), University of Venice, Italy (2016); San Diego State University, USA (2015, 2017, 2023)). She was a Fulbright visiting scholar at San Diego State University, USA in 2023, performing research and teaching 2 CS courses: CS210-Data Structures, CS420 Advanced Programming Languages. In 2009 Nato Pitskhelauri graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, the Faculty of Medicine with honours. In 2007-2009 she was the Head of Students and Young Scientists Society. In 2009 she started working at the Open Society Georgia Foundation in Public Health Program coordinating Salzburg Medical Seminars in Georgia.
In 2011 she received a certificate of successful complication of the advance training course: “Health Law and Management” at the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs. In 2011-2012 Nato Pitskhelauri trained at Utrecht Medical Center (Netherland) in CBCR Methodology of teaching. In 2012 she successfully defended her PhD thesis.

Tamta Kobakhidze holds a Master’s degree from Aachen Technical University and Ilia State University in the field of empirical educational research and education administration. She has extensive experience in the education sector and serves as an expert at the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement, specializing in accreditation and general education. Tamta has been awarded numerous scholarships from both international and local organizations (GIZ, DAAD, International Center of Education) and has participated in several international and local projects (USAID, Erasmus+). Since 2018, she has been leading the Research Support and Development Center at Akaki Tsereteli State University.
