On April 11, 2023 a local dissemination meeting was organized at Akaki Tsereteli State University in the frame of the Erasmus+ CBHE Programme Structural Reform project Responsible Conduct of Research – Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities (ETHICS). The meeting was attended by the university Vice Rector, Head of the Quality Assurance Office, Deans, Vice Deans and Head of Research Supporting and Development Office. During the meeting Head of Foreign Affairs and Development Office and Institutional Manager of the project, David Gegetchkori presented the project, its work packages, planned activities, goals and roles of the partners.
The aim of the national structural reform project ETHICS is to launch a systemic improvement intervention to improve the quality of University and Research-Performing Organizations (RPOs) research through launching measures to adhere to the foundations of high-quality research and excellence.
Representatives of 10 Georgian Higher Education representatives are involved in the project as well as the representatives of non-university partners – Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement and Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation. Project EU Partners are Free University Amsterdam, Charles University Prague, Masaryk University and European Network for Academic Integrity.
