European Conference on Ethics and Integrity in Academia ECEIA26 – submission of abstract

We are pleased to announce the European Conference on Ethics and Integrity in Academia (ECEIA26), to be held 14–16 September 2026 in Batumi, Georgia, hosted at the Sheraton Batumi Hotel.

The conference invites researchers, educators, practitioners, and policymakers to share insights on strengthening ethics and integrity across education and research. Extended abstracts are welcome on themes such as:

  • Ethics of intelligence & emerging technologies
  • Academic freedom, censorship, political pressures & misinformation
  • Accountability & institutional responsibility
  • Ethical publishing, AI use, authorship & predatory practices
  • Postplagiarism & evolving authorship
  • Ethical teaching of sensitive topics in the age of AI
  • Ethics education & training
  • Academic integrity in hybrid/online environments

Important Dates

  • Call for papers: 20 Nov 2025
  • Abstract submission opens: 1 Jan 2026
  • Abstract deadline: 26 Jan 2026
  • Reviews completed: 30 Mar 2026
  • Acceptance decisions: 17 Apr 2026

Extended abstracts (500–1000 words) should follow APA 7.0, Aptos 11 pt, and include a clear title, synopsis, background, methods, findings, message, keywords, and references.

After the conference, contributors can be invited to submit full papers for consideration in the post-conference publication.
