EXTERNAL DISSEMINATION MEETINGS WITHIN THE ETHICS PROJECT

On June 17, 2024, an online meeting was conducted as part of the external dissemination efforts for the European Commission-funded project, “Responsible Conduct of Research – Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities (ETHICS).” This virtual meeting catered to the academic and administrative staff of both European University and Kutaisi University.

The primary focus of the meeting was on the principles of research integrity and their critical importance. The speaker provided an in-depth analysis of the ethical utilization of artificial intelligence tools, highlighting relevant issues and challenges. Additionally, he discussed ongoing initiatives within the ETHICS project and shared valuable insights from his professional experience.

Giga Khositashvili, a representative from the project coordinator institution, led the meeting as the main speaker.

Project In Brief:

The aim of the national structural reform project ETHICS is to launch a systemic improvement intervention to improve the quality of University and Research-Performing Organizations (RPOs) research through launching measures to adhere to the foundations of high-quality research and excellence.
